Do you like to ice skate? Are you looking for an interactive evening with young children? Would you be willing to collect pledges for each lap skated or assist at the event?
Trinity College Community Child Center (TC4) is having their 2nd Annual Skate-A-Thon on Friday April 13th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Community Child Care Center is a private, nonprofit childcare center on Trinity’s campus that serves children and families in the surrounding area of Hartford and the Trinity College community. TC4 provides high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment that celebrates the diversity of the numerous families they serve in the community. The Program serves children from ages as young as six weeks to five years of age and it has been a part of the Trinity community since 1985. In addition to the activities offered to children in the program, the Child Center also provides scholarship assistance to Hartford residents who otherwise would not be able to afford care.
This fun event will raise money for the child care center to support scholarships for Hartford children as well as purchase program supplies.
If you are interested in skating or volunteering please contact Christy Gademsky, Executive Director at (860) 297-5374 or email christina.gademsky@trincoll.edu
